There is also a range of aftercare serums that support the skin’s ongoing production of growth factors, helping stimulate collagen and elastin even between treatments, so results are maintained and maximised.
Step 1 – Cellular Renewal Serum — The first step in the Procell Skin Care System is the Cellular Renewal Serum – a concentrated dose of water-soluble actives formulated to prime the skin, supporting its ability to heal, regenerate, and produce quality collagen. Key ingredients include Recombinant Growth Factors and Cytokines at a high, efficacious dosage – the body’s natural tools for healing, repair, and regeneration. Also included are Niacinamide to help reduce unwanted pigment, Carnosine to reduce anti-glycation end products, and Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba Leaf) Extract to support skin structure, strength, firmness, and cohesion, while enhancing the skin’s natural barrier function and moisture retention.
Step 2 – Healing Accelerator Serum — The second step is the Accelerator – a lipid-soluble complement to the Cellular Renewal Serum, containing a high dose of lipid-soluble antioxidants in a base of ceramides and phospholipids. Key ingredients include Growth Factors and Cytokines (at a lower dosage than the Serum), Retinol to support pathways in the skin traditionally stimulated by Vitamin A, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (a lipid-soluble form of Vitamin C that penetrates the skin), and DNA repair enzymes (Ultrasomes, Photosomes, and Roxisomes) specifically selected to help protect skin from the effects of sun damage and support the skin’s own repair processes.
Together, the Procell Skincare System (Cellular Renewal Serum and Accelerator) offers a well-rounded, simple two-step routine that supports hydration, reduces inflammation, supports collagen synthesis, firmness, and overall skin barrier health, without needing to add other active ingredients into your routine.
Procell’s aftercare system is available in a 5ml trial size (typically lasting around one week) and a full-size 30ml bottle (typically lasting 6–8 weeks), across two strength options, PRO and MD. The MD range is a more advanced formulation with a higher concentration of growth factors, along with TGF-β3 and IL-10 for enhanced anti-ageing, pro-healing, and anti-inflammatory support. PRO is typically suited to clients under 40, with MD generally recommended for those over 40.

How it Works — As we age, increased Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) levels can push hair follicles into a resting (telogen) phase. If a follicle remains in this phase too long, it can become unable to be reactivated, contributing to balding. Procell’s Hair Regrowth Serum is designed to disrupt DHT’s effect on hair follicle receptors, supporting the reactivation of dormant follicles. Treatment tends to work best for those in the earlier stages of hair thinning, though results have also been seen in older clients.
Thinning hair can also be influenced by scalp condition, affected by factors like dry climate, nutrition, stress, certain medications, chlorine exposure, and general environmental wear. Over time, the scalp can produce fewer growth factors and become less efficient at repairing itself, which can contribute to scalp fibrosis (hardening) or follicle miniaturisation – both of which can affect the hair growth cycle.
Stem cells within hair follicles play an important role in hair production, and the growth-factor ingredients in this serum are designed to support these stem cells to encourage regrowth. The Hair Regrowth Serum is formulated to support overall scalp condition, hair follicle health, and circulation of nutrients to the scalp, drawing on current hair follicle science and incorporating bio-identical growth factors and cytokines associated with hair follicle stimulation.
